The 1962 Corvette Convertible we offer went through an extensive nut and bolt restoration between 2000 & 2009. No cost was spared and there are receipts to back that up. Starting with the exterior, the tuxedo black paint was done with base-coat/clear-coat Glasurit. The convertible top and frame, also new in 2007 was done by AK Interiors, Canutillo, Texas.
The interior, completed in 2009 has been completely redone including carpet, dash, gauges, steering wheel, door knobs and seat belts, and finished off with black leather seats. The engine is a 400CI (1976 Block) and was completely rebuilt in 2008. The valve covers and manifolds are correct for 1962. A 750 Holley carburetor finishes the engine. The transmission is a close ratio 4 speed manual, completely rebuilt in 2009.
2 wheel disc brakes, aluminum radiator and MSD ignition are just a few of the upgrades on this car. This Corvette has won numerous "Best of Show"
awards, and it runs and drives like the day it left the showroom.
