This 1996 has been in the same family since new. It has super low mileage of 15,001. It still wears the most sought after color of Black, as it left the factory when new. 1996 was the final year for this body style production and big improvements were the floor mounted shifter in the console and the redesigned gauges with a Tachometer. Although well optioned in the base model, added options include the Sunroof and the Preferred Equipment Group.

Are you looking for a muscle car with the features and reliability of a modern car?  Check out this 1996 Chevrolet Impala SS.   It goes fast, but also corners and provides creature comforts like no muscle car before it.  In addition to the features listed above, it has the usual power steering and brakes,  tilt steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control and tinted glass.
The Impala SS was re-introduced in 1994 and made through the 1996 model year.  Chevrolet sold 69,758 of them over those three years.   The LT1 V-8 used in those cars produced 260 horsepower and 330 lb.-ft. of torque.  Those Impalas would go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 7.5 seconds and ran a quarter mile in 15.0 seconds.  At the time, Popular Mechanics noted that the Impala cost $65,803 less than a Mercedes-Benz S500, but out accelerated it and matched its braking performance.*
